TN Africa Digital Journalism Summit 2025 Concludes with Resounding Success in Accra.

The TN Africa Digital Journalism Summit 2025 has successfully concluded, marking a defining moment in the continent’s climate journalism movement. Held at the British Council in Accra, the summit brought together over 250 journalists, creators, and media professionals from across Africa for a day of learning, collaboration, and impactful storytelling.

The event ran seamlessly from start to finish, with strong attendance that exceeded expectations and demonstrated the growing urgency and enthusiasm for climate-centered media engagement.

A highlight of the summit was the inspiring address delivered by Special Guest of Honor, Her Excellency Juliette Bynoe-Sutherland, Barbados High Commissioner to Ghana. Her remarks emphasized global collaboration and the powerful role media plays in advancing sustainable development across Africa and the Caribbean.

Celebrated media personality Bola Ray also delivered a captivating speech, urging media professionals to embrace innovation, amplify environmental concerns, and champion responsible journalism in the digital age.

The keynote lineup was equally remarkable, with Natalie Fort, Emefa Apawu, and Elikem Kotoko sharing thought-provoking insights on the evolving media landscape, digital storytelling, and climate advocacy. Their presentations energized attendees and reinforced the urgency of amplifying climate narratives that influence policy and community action.

Engaging panel discussions led by notable moderators Ameyaw Debrah and Miriam Uduack Mensah provided deeper perspectives on strategic partnerships, audience trust, social media inclusion and the future of climate reporting.
