Accra is set to host one of the continent’s most dynamic SME gatherings as the NBC Trade Fair makes its Ghana debut on October 4–5, 2025, at the Palms Convention Center, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
For two days, Africa’s business energy will converge under the theme “Expanding African Trade Frontiers.” More than 10,000 visitors, 50+ exhibitors, and delegations from at least 15 countries are expected to turn Accra into a buzzing marketplace of trade, innovation, and cross-border connections.
The NBC Trade Fair has already carved out a reputation as a force in Africa’s entrepreneurial space. Founded by Nelly Agbogu (NaijaBrandChick), the platform has empowered over 100,000 businesses, driven $66 million+ in sales, and staged fairs across 10 Nigerian cities and international destinations from London to Dubai. Its model is simple but powerful: bring buyers, producers, investors, and dreamers into one arena — and let Africa’s business ecosystem do what it does best.
Choosing Accra is no accident. The Ghanaian capital is a rising trade hub, home to vibrant consumer markets and the headquarters of AfCFTA. By bridging Ghanaian and Nigerian markets, the 2025 edition aims to showcase Made-in-Africa brands, spotlight export-ready SMEs, and give investors a front-row seat to the continent’s next wave of opportunities.
Beyond the exhibitions — which will feature African fashion, food, beauty, lifestyle, and tech brands — the fair promises B2B matchmaking, trade delegations, media engagement, and masterclasses on export readiness, branding for global markets, financing MSMEs, and leveraging AfCFTA.
For Nelly Agbogu, the heartbeat of the fair has always been about creating tangible results for small businesses. “This is more than an exhibition,” she says. “It’s about visibility, sales, and scale. It’s about African entrepreneurs connecting with the world — and with each other.”
Backed by partners such as Wema Bank and The Palms Convention Center, the NBC Trade Fair has already become a trusted bridge for SMEs, generating over ₦30 billion in combined revenue and building a network of entrepreneurs who are proving that Africa is not just a market, but a marketplace.
This October, Accra joins the story. And for Africa’s entrepreneurs, it’s another door opening — not just to trade, but to the future.
