#VGMA23: MzVee grabs two nominations

Ghanaian international songstress MzVee has grabbed two nominations at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards

MzVee’s sterling performance during the period in review saw her being nominated for the Afrobeats Song of the Year and Best International Collaboration for her global smash hit record ‘Coming Home‘ featuring Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage.

For the Afrobeats Song of the Year, MzVee will lock horns with S3fa’s ‘E Choke’, Kuami Eugene’s ‘Dollar On You’, Kwesi Arthur’s ‘Celebrate’, Camidog’s ‘Sugar Cane’ KiDi’s ‘Mon Bebe; and Darko Vibes ‘Je Mapelle’.

This is MzVee’s second year running grabbing VGMA nominations after exiting her former label Lynx Entertainment. She won last year’s Music Video of the Year category for her ‘Baddest Boy’ song with MzVee after begging four nominations, making her the first ex-lynx musician to achieve the feat.

MzVee has excelled in her craft over the years, with her  2021 ‘InVEEncible’ album and her recent highly-publicized feature on Grammy’s ‘Press Play At Home’ session.
