Revealed New Era explores Dr Kofi Abban’s private island mansion in Ada

Ghanaian oil-and-gas entrepreneur Dr Kofi Amoa-Abban, founder of Rigworld, has opened his private island estate in Ada to cameras for the first episode of the revamped lifestyle series Revealed: The New Era.

The multi-million-dollar compound, known as MK Mansion and reportedly valued at over $3 million, sits on the Volta River. The estate features multiple-storey buildings with glass-and-steel architecture and an extensive lighting system that illuminates the property at night.

The grounds include a large swimming pool and open-plan pavilions overlooking the river. Inside, the mansion features high-end finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows, natural light throughout, and a gourmet kitchen equipped with a long island and commercial-grade appliances.

Bliss Kingg and Lucille King host the episode, the latter being Miss Malaika Ghana 2024. The pair guide viewers through the estate’s living spaces and outdoor areas, bringing energy to the tour format.

Revealed: The New Era is a lifestyle-travel series focused on luxury experiences in Ghana and beyond. The show’s first season will spotlight destinations and properties across the country, with MK Island serving as the opening feature.

The estate serves as Dr Amoa-Abban’s personal retreat. As an oil-and-gas executive, he has maintained a relatively private profile until now, making this behind-the-scenes access notable for viewers interested in Ghana’s luxury property market.
