Travel and lifestyle television series Revealed: The New Era is set to return for a second season with a new Know Your Regions concept that will take viewers across Ghana alongside celebrity guest hosts.
The new season, titled Revealed: The New Era 2.0, will explore the people, places, culture, food, history and experiences that define Ghana’s regions, with personalities who have strong connections to each destination joining the show as special hosts.
The 13-episode season will air on GHOne TV, with episodes and supporting content also distributed across digital platforms including Revealed, Bola Ray and EIB Digital.
The Know Your Regions concept forms the heart of the new season and is designed to encourage Ghanaians to look beyond familiar destinations and discover more of the country.
Rather than simply presenting tourist attractions, the show will explore each region through its people and stories, while highlighting local businesses, food, traditions, heritage sites, entertainment, hospitality and lesser-known experiences.
The celebrity guest hosts will bring a personal connection to each region, taking viewers through destinations and experiences from a perspective that is both familiar and relatable.
“We want Ghanaians to see their own country differently, one region, one story and one experience at a time,” Executive Producer Bola Ray said.
The new season comes with a broader focus on domestic tourism and destination storytelling, using television and digital media to create greater visibility for attractions, tourism businesses and cultural experiences across the country.
Production for the season is already underway, with the Volta Region among the first destinations featured.
Other regions are expected to feature prominently throughout the season, with the production travelling across the country to document different aspects of Ghanaian life and tourism.
The return of Revealed also forms part of a wider effort to use entertainment and storytelling to encourage travel within Ghana and give local destinations greater exposure to audiences at home and abroad.
The new season will combine television episodes with additional social media, behind-the-scenes, and short-form digital content, allowing audiences to engage with destinations beyond the main broadcast.
Revealed: The New Era 2.0 – Know Your Regions is expected to begin airing on GHOne TV later this year.
